This is a financing service and product we offer at FinHouse for importers primarily to help them have a seamless process in the process of clearing and transportation of imported cargo from the port/airport of origin to the set destination.
Import duty financing is a short-term facility available to importers for a maximum duration of 180 days, catering for port charges and custom duty , thus avoiding storage and demurrage charges.
Our Import Duty Financing solution provides the finances required to facilitate Customs duty payment, clearing costs or any other logistical costs associated with clearance of the imported goods or vehicle. On agreement we finance 100% of calculated duties and taxes as per KRA’s guidelines. The security for the facility is the motor vehicle or goods.
